Michael has been painting professionally since 2010. For the past 10 years, his work has been accepted for the Annual Exhibition of the Guild of Aviation Artists at the Mall Galleries in London. He has sold regularly there and in 2017 was awarded a “Highly Commended” in the Aviation Painting of the year competition. Michael was elected as an Associate Member of the Guild in 2016 and is currently the Chairman of the East Anglian Group of Marine Artists (EAGMA), one of only three groups in the UK that specialise in the genre. In May 2021 he was admitted to the IEA as a Provisional member.
Michael has had work accepted by the RSMA and has had a number of one and two-man shows around the UK from Northampton to High Wycombe. His work is featured in collections around the world. Recently The US Coast Guard Museum in Washington acquired his painting of a WW1 warship to be the centrepiece of their WW1 exhibition.
Currently exhibiting in the Hayes Gallery, Swaffham, Norfolk and the Cotswold Galleries, Stow-on-the-Wold.
