Julia Bristow

Julia was born in Brightlingsea, Essex, but started visiting Norfolk with her family from a very young age, an experience which led to her moving to Norfolk nearly 28 years ago. She has always enjoyed art and has explored different media ranging from watercolours to, latterly, etching and lino cuts. She has attended various evening classes, including those taught by Dan Llywelyn Hall, and was inspired by him to take up different forms of printing based mostly on her garden and the local area. She has shown her work at various local exhibitions and has been successful twice at the Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition.
