Chris Giles

Chris has been drawing, painting and creating from a young age and in the last 15 years have developed his skills and style, which is mainly loose, bold and impressionist. He is fortunate to have a studio at his home near Fakenham and whilst he enjoys painting for pleasure, he is also delighted to have many opportunities to produce commissions for people and businesses. He gains inspiration from a wide and diverse range of artists and artworks and really enjoys the freedom to paint and experiment in whichever style and media he chooses. Exploring different techniques, subjects and concepts are important to him. In 2014 Chris entered his first IEA Open Exhibition and was fortunate enough to have a painting accepted to the show. He also had paintings accepted in 2016, 2017 and 2018 IEA Open Exhibitions and to his surprise in 2018 was selected to become a provisional member of the IEA. He has exhibited work in Spring Art Show at The Forum in Norwich and at The Gallery in Holt. He has also had his works on display in spaces and galleries around Norfolk, even a few in Japan.
