Kim studied art at The Harris Art College, Preston Polytechnic and WR Tuson College all in Preston Lancashire. As well as using paint she developed an interest in such media as glass and metal, following this she entered into the world of furniture design and gained an Honors Degree at Nottingham in 1979.
Her career followed a designers path and she worked on many prestigious products including the BBC production of “Alice in Wonderland”. Involved in modelmaking, she developed a highly divers skill set. These are evident in her paintings where she portrays the beauty of light and shade amongst the depth and texture of the amazing British landscape.
Her career as a painter was sealed in 1999 when she was invited to become a member of The Society Of Women Artists. She was also appointed to the council, Kim exhibits in many galleries throughout the UK, exhibiting at the Mall Galleries each year. Recently she was honoured by becoming a provisional member of the IEA.
